Runway Presentation and the Berliner Mode Salon 20th January 2016 Berlin Fashion Week - Day 2

The second day at Berlin Fashion Week with Dorothee Schumacher, Louise Friedlaender, Guido Maria Kretschmer, SAMPLES-CM and Der Berliner Mode Salon

Dorothee Schumacher

After she was invited as talk guest of the ZEITmagazin x Vogue Converence, designer Dorothee Schumacher presented her latest collection for next winter on the second day of the Berlin Fashion Week, which also shows that the return to precious materials and designs in next winter is even more important. The collection is called "Limitless Identity" - elements of traditional costume fashion were paired with modern Skater details. Layerings played a major role, especially with xxl-scarfs. The female figure is accentuated with narrow waist belts. Floral pattern on chiffon blouses and apparels are combined with woolen fabrics and stripe pattern. Another trend important trend: utility pants with side pockets. There are boho-embroidery and lace appliqués – Minimalism is clearly no longer an issue.

Louise Friedlaender

The young talent Louise Friedlaender also celebrated this year her debut at the Berlin Fashion Week. Her inspiration for the Autumn / Winter 2016/2017 collection are "tears" and the motto "As Tears Go By". This is more a metaphor, not as an element. Thus, memories are the ground of patches and patchwork patterns that run through the entire collection. Safran is the trend color of this Fashion Week and so you can see it here increasingly. Draped skirts with long belt straps and patch pockets in contrasting colors a a important part of her collection. Sequins and sparkling details are also successful eye-catcher. The skirts are high-slitted, clothes and cuts are straight and even here the waist is emphasized. The military-style can be seen back next winter. Whether as a coat or pants, the details are omnipresent again.

Guido Maria Kretschmer

Favorite Star Desiger Guido Maria Kretschmer presented on Wednesday evening his winter collection 2016/2017 on the Runway at the Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Tent. It starts with red and pink colors, knitted sweaters and almost only skirts and dresses that are combined to black looks. Floral patterns are combined with leather and furs are used as awarming element for the cold winter. Again safran is a very popular color. Fish scales similar designs are worn over jackets and skirts. All in all, the evening looks are very glamorous, but at the same time very wearable , with lots of black lace, feathers and glitter, glitter, glitter.

SAMPLE-CM

The young label SAMPLE CM of designer Margot Charbonnier offered a refreshing show. Two donning stood ready to dress a single model in 18 different looks in front of the audience - a one- model - show. It started with simple rip tops and panties, went over to a maxi skirt and sweater, quilted jackets and back to underwear. The main colors are a royal blue, red and white. The strong items are combined with each other and function as a collection as well as a complete wardrobe for the woman. Actually more you wont need in your closet than from any type of clothing just one special thing. SAMPLE CM emphasizes again so that they want to take special attention through solutions for sociological problems in their fashion and provides a Fashion Week debut you will talk about in future.
