The focus of the individual fairs ranges from womanswear to menswear, sports and streetwear, sustainable fashion and fashion technology. With the FashionSustain and #FashionTech Berlin conferences, the Berlin Fashion Week reflects the focus topics of sustainability, technology and innovation and provides an outlook on the future of the fashion industry.

"The Berlin Fashion Week with six fairs, around 30 fashion shows and presentations, three conferences and more than 70,000 visitors has established itself throughout Europe and contributes to the successful development of the fashion industry in the location. We now have a turnover of 4.8 billion euros annually and nearly 25,000 people in the fashion sector. As part of the Fashion Week, we have been supporting the Berliner Salon and design talents from Berlin for many years. Thanks to our sustainable support, many designers have been able to establish themselves. This also makes the location good and radiates far beyond Berlin. The fairs, the talents, FashionTech and Eco Fashion are the DNA of the Fashion Week. The various platforms show a unique variety of brands, innovations and newcomers as well as trend-setting developments and give the buyers a comprehensive overview of the latest trends. Fashion Week is a success story and has developed into a major leading event for Berlin," said Economics Senator Ramona Pop.
