Established trade fair formats, shorter distances and revised concepts: these are the January highlights.

The trade fairs and formats of Berlin Fashion Week have been important business platforms for buyers, designers, press representatives and trade visitors from the fashion industry for many years. And yet a lot will be new in January.
The Berlin organisers are offering new formats and locations in order to give the specialist fashion public increased added value. Compared to the previous seasons, visitors to the Fashion Week in January 2020 can look forward to closer trade fairs and thus shorter distances, as well as new approaches and innovative ideas and concepts.

As in previous seasons, in January there will again be collective tickets, one for the Premium, Seek and Fashiontech formats and another for the Neonyt, Fashionsustain, Panorama and Selvedge Run & Zeitgeist formats. The Mercedes-Benz shuttle service will operate between the Neonyt, Panorama, Premium and Seek fairs.

Note: Please note that Berlin Fashion Week is not responsible for registrations or accreditations. Please contact the respective organizers if necessary. You can also find further information on registrations here: https://fashion-week-berlin.com/en/pressroom/registration.html

Premium Group events

The fair organiser Premium Group will be bundling its fashion events in the coming season. The established formats Fashiontech, Premium and Seek will be moving closer together. The Fashiontech conference will move to Luckenwalder Strasse, opposite the site on which the Premium and Seek fairs take place. The formats are also growing together in terms of content: there will be a Fashiontech studio at Seek, meaning that the link between innovation and fashion will be even closer.

PREMIUM Exhibitions, 14 to 16 January 2020, STATION-Berlin & Kühlhaus Berlin
The focus in January will be on a future with responsibility as well as on retail experiences and digitization. The composition of newcomers and big players with which the order season will be launched will be elegant, rich in contrast and impressive. Premium Berlin is also placing a new emphasis on the activewear and sports segment. The international fair is regarded as one of the most important business platforms for the fashion industry. From the autumn/winter 2020/2021 season onwards, Show & Order will officially be part of Premium Berlin.

Seek Berlin, 14 to 16 January 2020, Arena Berlin
The Seek streetstyle fair is cool and unconventional. Seek Berlin sees itself as the voice of street culture and presents a high-quality selection of upmarket streetwear and urban wear. More than 250 brands present statement designs, new classics, denim and sportswear. The whole event takes place in a relaxed environment for business and pleasure, in the Arena Berlin.

As a special highlight, a spin-off of Fashiontech will be integrated into Seek for the first time in January. As a new format, the Fashiontech studio with live podcasts, lectures and panel discussions will be part of Seek.

Fashiontech Berlin, 14 to 16 January, Luckenwalder Straße
After the Fashiontech conference and the associated exhibition moved to the Festsaal Kreuzberg and thus sought proximity to  Seek. In January it will take place in Luckenwalder Strasse 12 - 14 and will be spatially integrated near Premium. Global players, buyers and start-ups from the fashion industry are expected at Fashiontech.
For three days, everything will revolve around the future of fashion and trends at the interface between fashion and technology. Presentations, round table discussions and workshops offer opportunities for an interdisciplinary exchange of information on the latest developments. The stage talks and the exhibition will take place in the shell of the Aletto Hotel opposite STATION Berlin.

Among the speakers will be Online Marketing Rockstar founder Philipp Westermeyer, Ganni CEO Andrea Baldo and Mybudapester co-founder Matthias Nebus.

Fashion hotspot at the former Tempelhof Airport: Neonyt, Fashionsustain, Panorama und Selvedge Run & Zeitgeist

Shorter distances are also ensured by the changes of location of the sustainability hub Neonyt and the fair duo Panorama and Selvedge Run. At the former Tempelhof Airport, the formats will be close to each other, in Hangar 4 (Neonyt) and Hangars 5 and 6 (Panorama and Selvedge Run), and will share a common entrance area.

Neonyt Berlin, 14 to 16 January 2020, Hangar 4 at the former Tempelhof Airport
Neonyt is the global hub for fashion, sustainability and innovation, bringing together the key elements of the fashion industry: business, inspiration, knowledge, fun and community. Embedded in Berlin Fashion Week, the hub is internationally oriented and is the world's leading and largest trade fair for sustainable fashion. The autumn/winter edition will take place for the first time from 14 to 16 January 2020 in Hangar 4 of the former Berlin Tempelhof Airport.
After everything revolved around the theme of water in 2019, another element has now been moved into the thematic focus. In 2020, Neonyt will be making air the central theme. The organizers think it is time to take a close look at the carbon footprint of the fashion industry and will be creating numerous possibilities and approaches for the trade visitors.

In addition to the fair, the hub concept also includes the Fashionsustain conference by Messe Frankfurt, the Thinkathon, the Neonyt fashion show, showcases, the influencer and blogger format Prepeek, networking events and the Neonyt party, all of which make the concept complete.

Fashionsustain by Messe Frankfurt, the conference for sustainable fashion, 14 to 16 January 2020, Tempelhof Airport
The Neonyt conference is aimed at players in the fashion industry. It is about innovations and changes in the fashion and textile industry.

The main Neonyt theme "Air" is also central to the Neonyt conference. The sustainability conference shows how applied innovations can be created through the interaction of collaborations, new technologies and sustainability.

Panorama Berlin, 14 to 16 January 2020, Tempelhof Airport
Rebel with a cause: this is the motto with which the organizers are entering the new season. The focus is on digital transformation. Smartphones and the Internet have fundamentally changed and modified consumers' shopping behaviour. The organisers are therefore certain that trade fairs will also have to be rethought and react to the changes. A new, more agile concept is intended to whet the appetite for fashion again. A Brand Avenue with pavilions will be erected on the site of the former Tempelhof Airport. But this is only the beginning. The construction of an entire Brand Village is planned for the summer of 2020. Visitors can also look forward to numerous pop-up fashion events and a lifestyle which can be experienced.

PANORAMA will take place for the first time in Hangars 5 and 6 of the former Tempelhof Airport in the immediate vicinity of the Neonyt sustainability hub. With Jürgen Putzer, PANORAMA also has a new head of marketing who wants to push ahead with both the strategic reorientation of the leading fair and the concept.

The fair stands for high-quality clothing, shoes, accessories and lifestyle and remains true to its focus on quality and trust as well as the concentration on denim and craft. Sustainable production methods and strong products, as well as a curated selection of new international brands and well-known brands will present their outdoor, active and sportswear looks to visitors.
